Immigrants have come to America from all over the world. When the United States was just colonies, immigrants came from England, Holland, Germany, France, and Scotland. During the early 20th century, immigrants came from Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Eastern Europe.
Immigrants from Asia such as Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans moved to America in the mid-1800's and continue to immigrate to America today. In addition, one can never forget that millions of people from Africa were kidnapped, enslaved, and forced to move to America during the time of the Atlantic slave trade.
