How do immigrants benefit our country?

In America's history, there have been times when there were not enough workers. Immigrants solved this problem by filling jobs. They have raised the amount of money in an area and the amount of work that is done. The immigrant workers have added money to our economy. Many immigrants have come to Georgia from Mexico and Latin American countries, and they have helped fill jobs in farming and manufacturing.
In South Georgia, the growing Vidalia onion industry is supported by immigrant populations. Georgia is known as a leader in carpet production, and many immigrants have filled jobs in the industry. In addition, Georgia's huge chicken industry uses many immigrant workers in production and processing.
